I started making music at a young age. Growing up in Philadelphia as a Puerto Rican American, I was surrounded by a wide range of sounds—’80s pop, Motown, R&B, rap, salsa, house music, and more. As I got older, my musical world expanded into classical, rock, alternative, flamenco, and eventually reggaeton.

As a kid, beatboxing and tapping out rhythms eventually turned into learning to play bongos, congas, and other percussion instruments used in salsa and merengue. I’m not an expert with any of them, but learning how rhythm, percussion, and different sounds work together gave me a foundation that I still use when creating melodies and arranging music in FL Studio.

Later, I picked up some guitar and piano, which only deepened my love for music. I had also always enjoyed writing stories and poetry, and over time that creativity found a new home in lyrics and song ideas.

Today, AI has opened another door. Music feels more limitless than ever. I can take the rhythms I grew up with, the instruments I’ve learned, the genres I love, my writing, technology, and whatever happens to be in my head—and bring them together to create something new.
